Tenable Focuses on 2025: New Priorities and Nessus Price Increase
Tenable has announced its key focus areas for 2025, which include Tenable One, Tenable Cloud Security, and the newly launched Patch Management from December. The company continues to enhance its cybersecurity management solutions, offering customers more comprehensive security tools.
Nessus Price Increase in March
Tenable has announced that the list price of Nessus will increase by $400 on March 3, 2025. Customers are encouraged to take advantage of the current pricing before the increase takes effect.
Customers can also benefit from multi-year discounts when purchasing Nessus licenses:
- 2 years: 2.5% discount
- 3 years: 5.0% discount
- 4 years: 7.5% discount
- 5 years: 10.0% discount
These discounts require the license to be purchased and paid for multiple years upfront.
Lumin Now Available Only Through Tenable One
The cybersecurity management tool Lumin, one of Tenable’s most widely used products, will now be available exclusively through Tenable One. This includes access to Lumin Exposure View (LEV), which provides a more detailed departmental or function-specific view with customizable metrics.
The transition to Tenable One has a minimal price impact, as the Tenable One license is approximately the same price as purchasing Tenable Vulnerability Management and Lumin together. However, it is important to note that the minimum license quantity for Tenable One is 300 licenses.
This change will also affect existing customers starting in Q2/2025. From that point onward, all commercial modifications (such as expansions and renewals) will require Lumin environments to transition to Tenable One.
Tenable advises customers to review these changes and take advantage of the current pricing before the March price increase.
